(i) Where did the peacock live?

Ans:- The peacock lives in a forest beside a lake .

 

(ii) Who was the new visitor of the lake?

Ans:- The crane was the new visitor of the lake .

 

(iii) What was the crane doing when the peacock went to the lake?

Ans:- when the peacock went to the lake the crane was busy  to catching fish for his lunch .

 

(iv) What did the peacock do to show his beauty?

Ans:- The peacock spread out his colourful feathers to show his beauty .

 

(v) Why did the peacock mock at the crane?

Ans:- The peacock mock at the crane because the crane has colourless feathers .
