The wise ants and the lazy grasshopper

 

1. Answer the following questions (নিম্নলিখিত প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দাও):-

(i) What was the grasshopper doing on a hot summer day?

Ans:- On a hot summer day the grasshopper was hopping around in a field . He was chirping and singing merrily .

 

(ii) What were the ants carrying?

Ans:- The ants were carried plump seeds of corn .

 

(iii) Where were they going?

Ans:- The ants were going to their ant hill .

 

(iv) Why did the grasshopper not find any food in the winter?

Ans:- The grasshopper not find any food in the winter because a thick white blanket of snow covered all the food lying in the field .

 

(v) Did the ants give any food to the grasshopper?

Ans:- When the grasshopper beg some food, the wise ants shook their heads in disgust . They turn their back on the grasshopper and went on their work .
