1. Answer the following questions (নিম্নলিখিত প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দাও):-

(i) Who is the friend of Bunny?

Ans:- Punny is the friend of Bunny .

 

(ii) Who is Lobu?

Ans:- Lobu was Punny's mother .

 

(iii) What did Bunny eat?

Ans:- Bunny eats watercress .

 

(iv) Why was Bunny sad?

Ans:- Bunny was sad because he cannot swim like Punny .

 

(v) What does a hull do?

Ans:- A hull helped the boat to float .

 

(vi) What does a keel do?

Ans:- The keel helped the boat to keep it's direction .

 

(vii) What did Bunny dream about?

Ans:- Bunny dreamed about boats, steamers, ships and vessels .

 

2. Who am I? (আমি কে ?)

Ans:-

(i) I am made of wood. I have no propellers. I am a boat .

(ii) I have many hulls and keels. I move on diesel and electric power. I am a ship .

(iii) I have no roof. I carry heavy goods. I am a vessel .

(iv) I move on steam power. I carry goods and people. I am a steamer .

7. Here is a common list of the names of vehicles. Write the names of water transport in column ‘A’and the land transport in column 'B' ( নীচে যানবাহনের নামের তালিকা দেওয়া আছে। ওই তালিকা থেকে জলযানের নাম A তালিকাতে ও স্থলযানের নাম তালিকা B তে লেখো):-

People have used boats to move goods and people across water.

Larger boats carry many people or tons of goods over long distances.

Boats is also used for fishing.

 

A Ship…

A ship is large boat that can carry passenger or cargo for long distances over water.

People have been using ships for transportation, exploration and war since ancient times.

Up to 90% of world trade is carried on ships.
