Making Interrogative and Negative

 

1. Answer the following questions by one or two words (একটি বা দুটি শব্দে উত্তর দাও):-

a) Who is a farmer?

Ans:- Mahim is a farmer .

 

b) Who is a nurse?

Ans:- Bina is a nurse .

 

2. Make the following sentences interrogative (নীচের বাক্যগুলোকে প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য তৈরি করে):-

a) Mahim is a farmer.

Ans:- Is Mahim a farmer ?

 

b) Bina is a nurse.

Ans:- Is Bina a nurse ?

 

c) This is a tiger.

Ans:- Is this a tiger ?

 

d) You have many books.

Ans:- Have you many books ?

 

e) I am a girl.

Ans:- Am I a girl ?

 

3. Make the following sentences negative (নীচের বাক্যগুলোকে 'না’সূচক বাক্য তৈরি করো):-

a) I am a boy

Ans:- No, I am not a boy .

 

b) This is a tiger.

Ans:- No, this is not a tiger .

 

c) You are a girl.

Ans:- No, I am not a girl .

 

d) I have many books.

Ans:- No, I have no book .

 

e) She has a pen.

Ans:- No, She has not a pen .

 

4. Make sentences (বাক্য রচনা করো):-

Nurse - Ans:- Bina is not a nurse .

Farmer - Ans:- Mahim / He is a farmer .

Doctor - Ans:- He is not a doctor .

 

5. Write the Bengali meanings (বাংলা অর্থ লেখো):-

a) Is Bina a nurse ?

Ans:- বিনা কি একজন সেবিকা?

 

b) Bina is not a nurse.

Ans:- বিনা সেবিকা নন।

 

c) Are you a boy?

Ans:- তুমি কি ছেলে?

 

d) I am not a boy.

Ans:- আমি ছেলে নই।

 

e) Have you got a pencil ?

Ans:- তোমার কাছে কি একটা পেন্সিল হবে?

 

f) I have no pencil.

Ans:- আমার কোন পেন্সিল নেই।
