1. Answer the following questions (নিম্নলখিত প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দাও):-

(i) Name two main sources of water.

Ans:- Two main sources of water are rain and snow .

 

(ii) How do we get the underground water?

Ans:- We get the underground water with the help of wells or tube wells .

 

(iii) Do all animals and plants need water?

Ans:- All animals and plants need water to alive .

 

(iv) Why do farmers need water?

Ans:- Farmers need water to grow crops .

 

(v) What should we do to welcome rain?

Ans:- We shall keep the water clean and plant trees to welcome rain .

 

2. We use water for many purposes. Make a list of these (আমরা অনেক কাজের জন্য জল ব্যবহার করি। একটি তালিকা বানাও):-

(i) All animals and plants need water to alive .

(ii) We need water to clean things .

(iii) Farmers need water to grow crops .

(iv) Electricity is generated from water .

(v) Water even helps to put out fire .
