1. Answer the following questions (নিম্নলিখিত প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দাও):-

(i) Where did the two sisters live?

Ans:- The two sisters lived in a village .

 

(ii) How was the elder sister different from her younger ?

Ans:- The elder sister different from her younger by hard working .

 

(iii) Why did the elder sister begin to weep?

Ans:- By mistake, she dropped the shuttle into the well. Then she began to weep .

 

(iv) What happened when she dived into the well?

Ans:- When she dived into the well she became senseless .

 

(v) Where did she find herself when she awoke?

Ans:- When she awoke she found herself sitting in a meadow .

 

(vi) Why was she afraid?

Ans:- She was afraid because she saw a old woman had large teeth .

 

(vii) Why did the elder sister stay with the old woman?

Ans:- The old woman spoke very kindly with her so the elder sister stay with the old woman .

 

(viii) Why was Mother Moon very happy with the elder sister?

Ans:- Mother Moon was very happy with the elder sister because  she looked after the woman .

 

(ix) What did she get as a reward and from whom?

Ans:- She got shower of gold as a reward from Mother Moon .

 

(x) Why did the younger sister return home empty handed?

Ans:- The younger sister returned home empty handed because she was very lazy .
